Elkhart Manufacturing Company
The Elkhart rotary magneto was the first used
in any quantity by Fuller & Johnson. They featured a cast pot
metal body and double magnets. The larger mags used 4 mounting
bolts while smaller ones retained the more commonly seen 2 bolt
mounting. Elkharts were used on all sizes of the Double Efficiency
and many of the early model N engines.
